SIDI wins first World Cup Air Rifle in 2015!

With an impressive 1.5 points lead after the last shot Peter SIDI (HUN) won the Air Rifle final at the first World Cup in 2015 in Changwon/Korea. Sidi seems to be very satisfied with his new Walther LG400-Electronic - and we at Walther, too! Congratulations on another World Cup victory to Peter, who still holds the World Record with 633.5 points.

In an interview given after the final to the ISSF, Peter Sidi speaks about the advantages of his new LG400:

“I've been preparing a lot for this World Cup, and I finally won it.” Sidi said, wearing the first ISSF Rifle and Pistol World Cup gold medal of the season. The Hungarian athlete arrived here in Changwon after a long winter preparation, and with a winning ace up his sleeve. “I have a new rifle,” he said, “and I have never lost a competition since I am using this new equipment. I was really confident going into the final, today.” By winning today's final, Sidi secured an Olympic Quota Place. And after participating in all Summer Olympics Games since 2000, he is now looking forward to Rio 2016." In an SMS to Walther Peter seems to be very happy: "Thank you for the perfect rifle. Thanks to all people of Walther company and to the Walther family".
