1999: Walther markets, with its LG300 Alutec, the first match air rifle with aluminium stock. A revolutionary concept that for the first time offers air rifle users too all the options for customizing their firing position.
2004: Users can now enjoy for the first time a material – in the carbon fibre stock – which is completely new in sport shooting. Strong, light and vibration-absorbing, the advantages of this modern material are obvious.
2007: Once again Walther has set new standards in sports weapon technology with the LG300XT Anatomic. The stock is made from a single piece of laminated wood. When combined with adjustment features that surpass those of an aluminium rifle, they once again make Walther the leader when it comes to ergonomics, variability and design.
As the only wooden stock offering the same adjustment options as an aluminium stock, the Anatomic is an attractive choice for top marksmen, young people and active club members alike. From the very start, the specific needs of bench-rest shooters were also addressed in the design process. The ideal dimensions were ascertained and implemented in extensive trials and tests with shooters of all performance classes.
The design of the Anatomic stock incorporates classic lines. The adjustment functions are provided in excellent quality and with ingenious solutions. The laminated wood stock is suitable for ambidextrous use. To do so, the cheek piece and the grip are changed round.
